Example Invoicing from a completed order
  1. Trigger
    Order is set to “Completed”

    The technician closes the order on a tablet. Nothing else is done by hand — the flow takes over from here.

    Check completeness

    SEMA ONE checks line items, quantities, prices and approvals. If something is missing, the order goes back for clarification — instead of into a faulty invoice.

  3. 2
    Generate the invoice

    Line items, terms and tax rates are carried over from the order; the invoice number comes from your number range. No retyping, no transfer errors.

  4. 3
    Render the PDF from your report

    The printout is produced from your own report layout — letterhead, logo, footer, payment terms. Always the same appearance, with no reformatting.

  5. 4
    Send and file

    The email goes out with the PDF attached to the stored invoice recipient. The same file is filed automatically in the document archive on the order.

  6. Set the status and follow up

    The order reads “Invoiced”, the invoice “Sent”. If payment does not arrive, the next flow starts by itself: the reminder.

The flow stops instead of producing nonsense

If a step fails, every following step is skipped. No half-finished invoice goes out, and nothing is posted that would have to be reversed later.

The error has an address

The log names the step, the cause and the affected record — in plain language. No digging through log files, no guesswork in the department.

Your flows become repeatable test protocols. After a fix, the same protocol runs again — before every change to the system, not once a customer complains.

us first.

Do I have to switch to SEMA ONE?
No. Your rich client keeps running unchanged, and both clients access the same backend. You can activate SEMA ONE in parallel and move your team department by department — or not at all for now. There is no forced migration.
Are our customizations preserved?
Yes. SEMA ONE builds directly on your existing SEMA installation. Data model, screens, customizations and established processes remain fully intact — nothing is re-implemented and nothing is migrated.
Does anything need to be installed?
No. SEMA ONE runs in the browser — on Windows, macOS, Linux and tablets. There is no local installation and no client updates to roll out. The feature scope is complete; this is not a stripped-down web variant.
How does the transition work?
In three steps: your rich client keeps running, SEMA ONE is activated alongside it, and your teams move over gradually. Both clients work on the same data — there is no cut-off date by which everything must be switched at once.
Can we see SEMA ONE with our own data?
Yes. We set the system up on a copy of your data and show you your familiar processes in the new interface — with no obligation and no effort on your side.
What is new compared to the rich client?

Is SEMA ONE part of the existing maintenance contract?
No. The existing maintenance contract covers the previous SEMA applications only. SEMA ONE was developed from the ground up and is therefore offered as an independent application with its own licence or subscription model and a separate maintenance contract.
